# \[5] 4 - Embezzlement

Steals or misappropriates funds that are used for a specific purpose. San Andreas statute that defines the crime of **embezzlement** as a person that unlawfully took property that has been **entrusted** to him or her, with the intent of depriving the rightful owner of the use of the property.
