# \[6] 9 - Gaining Unauthorized Access to a System (Hacking)

It is illegal for a person to intentionally:

* Access a computer system without authorization
* Interfere with system or computer services without authorization
* Copy, transfer, delete, hide, alter, damage/destroy, or encrypt/lock files without authorization
* Intercept, duplicate, or prevent delivery of data traffic to, from, or between systems
