# \[3] 29 - Seatbelt Requirement

All occupants of a motor vehicle being driven on public roadways must wear a seatbelt while driving, or riding as a passenger. 

This law does not apply to any occupants of military vehicles. This law does not apply to occupants of  emergency vehicles who are trained in emergency vehicle operations (e.g. a police officer in a police car, a firefighter or EMT in a fire engine, ambulance, etc.).
