# \[6] 14 - Home Invasion

An act committed by an individual/s, where they willingly break into a residential home, with the clear intent to steal property/possessions from the home. The individuals must trespass on the property, and cause damage, in order for Home Invasion to be a valid charge for the subject/s

Example: *An individual breaks into a residential property in Mirror Park, and steals a TV and jewellery.*

Note - If individual/s break onto a residential property, but do not cause any damage, or do not enter the physical property building, then they shall not be charged with Home Invasion, but instead \[6] 6 Trespassing, at the home owners discretion. If the homeowner does not want them individually charged, then they shall be ordered off the property, and not arrested.
